It's a Dino World

I love, love, love all things dinosaur—so this week’s design challenge from Spoonflower was the perfect starting point for me. This design is more realistic than some of my other dinosaur illustrations, but in fun and wacky colors. Brontosaurus, tyrannosaurus, triceratops, stegosaurus, and my son’s favorite pterodactyl all make their appearance in this pattern design.

Ornate Easter Eggs

It may be a few months away, but the Spoonflower Design Challenge for this week has me thinking about Easter. I love the detail of pysanky style eggs and the ornate beauty. I have this pattern available in 4 color palettes. I loved creating a variety of eggs with different details in flowers, Easter bunny, Cross, and many floral elements of spring.

Scandinavian Inspired

I was inspired by traditional Scandinavian Folk Art, and the colors enhance that. I find that the muted red and blues really match the vibe of the winter season. I added my own twist with fairy tale characters—unicorns, flowers, magic sparkles, a castle—to add more more whimsical style to this design.
