My pattern for Spoonflower this week was a little more hand son with traditional shibori dye process, well, except I didn’t have indigo, boards, or string, so I made do with what I had on hand. I had some teal dye that I had used to make some baby wraps when my son was a newborn, metal paper clamps, a couple feet of twine, and hair bands. I think it would be fun to try this again in the more traditional way, but it was kind of funny to MacGyver this one together. I did alter the teal in photoshop to get a more typical indigo blue color to this pattern. Please vote at Spoonflower for my pattern, every vote really matters and helps make our patterns available in their marketplace.
